Order awarded. Lenin (1963, 1981), Oct. Revolution (1978), medals. Hon. polar explorer. Hon. marine worker. fleet of the USSR. Awarded with the badge “Best Captain Min-va mor. fleet." Hon. citizen of Murmansk (1996). In Murmansk at home, in the cat. lived B. M. Sokolov, a memorial plaque was installed.
